Hey there,

I bought a brand new Blues Junior 3 a couple of weeks ago. I got the FSR in Navy Blue with the V30. Very satisfied with the sound, however, I have problems with the reverb. I noticed it right when I got home from the store. They sent it away to Fender for repair, and I got it back today. They said that they've changed the reverb tank. But still the same problem.. Am I unlucky, and have got 2 bad tanks, or may it be something else? Very depressing. The reverb is kind of buzzing in the background, like fretbuzz. It's very subtle, but it teases me..

Yeah, I will. But it's 80 km to the store, and with todays gas prices (2.1usd/litre, sweden), I'll soon be ruined! I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see what they say. :)

I never take an amp home in the box. I put it through its paces before it ever leaves the store. It just avoids a lot of inconvenience.

Got off the phone now. They said that they would take it back for repair again, and meanwhile I could borrow another amp. They would also give me some kind om compensation for the travel-cost. :)

I also picked up a Blues Jr III a few weeks ago, the reverb didn't sound right so I tried
reversing the cables that plugged into the tank and that fixed the problem.

I've read that alot of these amps were shipped without the cables plugged in, so its
possible someone in the store has connected them without checking to make the proper
connection.

Wow that's generous of them. Travel costs and an amp in the meantime. Sounds like a good store.
