Hi
Sorry for my english...

I have strange problem.
The month ago I bought this amplifier (new).
I didn't play last 3 weeks.
Yesterday I turn on and....nothing, silence!
None sounds!
I am giving the scale on max....nothing, zero noise.
It is very strange case because amplifier wasn't used last 3 weeks, he was disconnected from the electricity!
But when I connect amplifier directly to mixer with use PREAMP OUT i hear sound and everything seems to be ok.
But nothing on celestion speaker in fender, so...what your idea is?

Did you check that the speaker is connected?

Not it is NOT "obvious".

You are a new forum member whose level of expertise and knowledge of Fender amps is unknown to us. We're trying to walk you through the basic troubleshooting steps -- if you expect help here, it's in your best interest not to be flip. Lifeguards seldom enjoy arguing with a drowning man about the manner of their rescue.

Hi freestate,

As suggested, be sure that the speaker plug is inserted into the correct jack. Also, check that all of the tubes are firmly seated in their sockets and glowing, in particular V3 (PI) and V4, V5 output tubes. If the amp is only a month old, return for warranty.

Does the bulb for power is ON ?

Does the bulb for standby is On ?

:)

As Shimmilou already said, bring back to the dealer if under warranty, even valves are under warranty for 3 months.

I wrote yesterday to the dealer.
But I live in Poland, dealer is in Germany (Thomann.de), so I am afraid that it will be difficult and a lot of time will take.
With bulbs everything is ok, speakers are also inserted into the correct jack.
Looks like it that I was unlucky...

By the way, it is strange - new amplifier (high price in Polish conditions), good renowned company and such fast damaging.

Just a couple of thoughts. Try a new tube in the V3 (PI) position, any 12AX7, 5751, or 12AT7 type will work. Could be a bad tube. Also, try an instrument cable plugged from the "Preamp Out" into the "Power Amp In", the "Power Amp In" jack could be the problem.

Shimmy, JOC--- does this amp have output stage fuse(s) on the circuit board? I know several new amp that do, and some that don;t show these fuses on the schematic. Can drive you crazy until you pull the amp.

Thanks! Keep cool.

" elektryczny bezpiecznik " or circuit board fuse (HTH!)

Willkommen! Zu dieser Stelle! (Sorry, my German is infinitely better tham my Polish) :D

No output or high voltage fuse on any version of the Deluxe or Deville. The Version III (Deluxe and Deville) has a fuse on the filament supply, so if the tubes are glowing it's good of course.

Edit:
On second thought, I really haven't seen any export models, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were HT fuses. Certainly worth a look I suppose.

Next fact -I checked lamps, and...two 6L6 are ok, two 12ax7 are ok. One 12ax7 which is in the middle (between two 6L6 and two 12ax7) isn't shining, not glow, but she is very hot.
It can be it?

Don't know what you mean be this. There are no 12AX7 BETWEEN the 6L6GC's. Maybe the one next to the first 6L6GC? Check the layout at bottom of link.

Between the 6L6s and the other two preamp tubes, between the output tubes and preamp tubes, the "middle" tube, which is V3. And he thinks that his English is poor?

"try a new tube" - easier said than done :)
I don't know how, I don't have a lamp (now I see only in one store in Poland).
I think that amplifier will be come back to Germany.
