You might want to do a search of the topic before posting.
Lots of discussion on DRRI speaker updates/upgrades.

Both speakers have their supporters. A lot has to do with personal preference too.

Thanks for the link but it didn't contain a comparison between these two speakers specifically. I'm especially interested in knowing which one will more likely cure the OD/fuzz induced "fizz".

Also I tried searching but didn't come up with anything. But I'm totally clueless so that isn't surprising lol.

Thanks!! :D

The Cannabis Rex is a more efficient speaker and delivers a modern Celestionesque tone. Conversely, the Weber 12F150 is voiced to simulate a vintage Jensen C12N. Both speakers require 40 to 50 hours of vigorous play before full break-in occurs. Either driver will sound great in a DRRI but that'll be contingent upon the type of music you play.

I play in a classic rock cover band: Joe Walsh, later Beatles, Tom Petty, etc. You get the idea.

In that case I'd opt for the Cannabis Rex.

I don't know about the Weber, but I just put a C-Rex in my DRRI and would have to say it's a big improvement over the stock speaker for my style of music. Hard to explain, but it sounds more "Alive".

Vintage amp wonks prefer the term "organic".
