I am having probs with my reverb going in & out (in for ~20 min. then out for awhile then presto back in)- totally intermittent.
I have tried several tubes. I have pulled the tank and checked the wires (RCA connections tto).
I ordered a new accutronics reverb tank and tried it~
still same prob~
I purchased the EXT warranty from the retailer, so now I am going to bring it back to them
( it prob is a cold solder joint )

QUESTION:
Do I need to put the orig tank back in? The new one is the same BUT has a different # on it.
( has maufacturers model #4AB3C1B instead of fenders model #0064063000 )
yeah i know i am being lazy here, but heyyyyyy-

Definitely put the original back in. However, it will probably be pretty evident that you have been mucking around in the amp, so be prepared.

Twirly. Did you purchase this amp "brand new" from an official Fender Dealer? or,
is it a "used amp" you purchased, and the dealer added their own warranty on a used amp?

PLMK. I have some ideas. Toppscore 8)

Anybody giving odds that the store will use that unauthorized meddling as justification to weasel out of honoring the warranty?

Put me down for ten (I'm good for it).

So, Twirly. . . . what'd you do?
Tank it or re-Tank it :?:
Do it yourself, get it fixed :?:
Warranty or No Warranty :?: :?: :?:
