How do you like the wgs et 65,
How's the breakup , early or late?
Compared to the stock Jensen c12k
I love the tone on the c12q but man breaks up
fast. I feel I'm playing through a class 5 Marshall.
Lol

I've got a Lil' Buddy and can't wait to get an amp with a 12" speaker just so I can throw a CR in there. Whoever said these speakers take a long time to break in is right. That hemp cone just keeps getting better and better.

I've got a p12q in mine. I still want to explore other options, even the c12k just to see how it sounds. I'm interested in celestions though, even that new creamback.

Huh? Disconnect the speaker, remove the 4 screws from the baffle, push and there is the speaker. Change it and reverse. You don't have to pull the chassis.

Actually this way works better for me,
I unscrewed the baffle came out with a slight push, it felt very snug
without the screws, I put the CR back. But the the baffle out,
I was able to fit test it making sure the speaker casing isnt
touching the transformer.
Viola, loud, and great tone, I used a distortion, OD pedal.
Took them very well with my les Paul.
All this talk about the CR, I had to put it back.
But FYI the Bjr nos and the CR are a perfect match.
