I had an opportunity to tryout a Blues Junior Red October yesterday. It sounded pretty awesome with the Eminence Red Wizard or at least I think it was the wizard. There was a Blues Junior with the Celestion V30 which which was good also.

Does anyone have of these Red Octobers and can offer a few thoughts?

I don't own one, but the only difference between this and the standard BJr is the covering color and speaker. I have the BJr II, standard black, and I agree, it sounds awesome too. :D

After looking at,Messa's,Dr.Z,RIvera all great amps, the Blues JR.and Pro Junior are awesome for the money. And with capability of connecting to my 2/12 cabinet it is an awesome choice. I am having a hard time justifying $1500 for these 18 watt amps even though they sound great. For $1500 I can go buy another Super Reverb or a wide open selection of amps as that Price point is game changer.

Thanks for your opinions I appreciated your comments and bringing my back to reality for a practice amp.
