It'll still sell I'm sure. There's always sales when the product doesn't move when they decide to raise the price. Honestly, I don't think the reissues are worth much more that that and I always thought the Princeton, even though it's a fine amp was priced way too high. The competition is too fierce in that price range and even below. We'll see. Wasn't the price higher to start with? I can't remember for sure.

And now the MSRP for the re-issue is nudging the lower edge of the price envelope for vintage silverface PR's. And the choice between those two is an absolute no-brainer if one is interested in reliability and solid Fender vibe.
