I recently picked up a Pro Junior that had been converted into a head at some point. The amp sounds great, but there are a few problems. The head is mounted in the cabinet so the controls face you. That makes the tubes stick out horizontally which seems like it would be less than ideal. As a result of that the cab that it is mounted in is too shallow to completely cover the tubes. To remedy this, the previous owner removed the screws that hold the insides to the chassis so the tubes could be pushed back in. I do not like this and want to find the screws. Were can I get those? or at least what size are they so I can hit the hardware store. It looks like I am either buying an empty pro junior cabinet or having a new head cab built that is the right size.

I don't have Pro Junior amp but if you can show us , with photo where you need scew , the holes or thread this will help to give you an answer.

You could need metal screw or bolts and nuts.

Or you simply bring your chassis to your local hardware store to find the right screws. Faster than wait an answer from the forum ( ? ) and going anyway to your hardwarw store.

I most certainly need some sort of sheet metal screw. It is hard to tell what the thread pitch is or the size because the threads are inside the chassis of the amplifier. I will try to get a picture posted sometime today. I just figured that someone here would know what size the screws were. They are just the screws that hold the tubes sockets to the chassis if you hold the chassis so the tubes are horizontal and facing you mine has no screws at all in the back. This allows the tubes to flop around.

If you look around the tubes you will see that there are no fasteners in the holes. those are what I am looking for. Sorry for the huge pic, I was lucky enough to even get it on here.

I found them. They are 6-32x1/4 screws. Just thought I would share.
