I'm having a lot of difficulty finding an official Fender footswitch for my Champion 110. Just wondering, can I use any footswitch with it or does it have to be the official one?

Also, If I can use any footswitch, I was thinking about making my own. Does anyone have general schematics for one? I just want one that can switch between the two channels and has a separate button for toggling reverb.

Thanks! :)

Hi Rob Coleman,

The foot switch required is a single button, and will only switch channels, no reverb switching possible on the 110, and using a two-button switch will not switch reverb either. Foot switch listed in the Champion 110 manual, Fender P/N 002-8890-000.

Manual:

Schematic:

Click the schematic to make it bigger, then right click and "save image as".

It seems that the new part number is, P/N 099 4052 000, which is advertised to work with the Champion 110. The foot switches in the links below all have the 02-8890 part number right on the front, so they should work.

I could be mistaken, but I think that a simple single button foot switch with no LED will also work. Couldn't hurt to try one anyway.

Hey how is that Copperhead working out for you?

I have a Lil' Buddy in mine and am loving it. Even the Drive channel is starting to grow on me.
