Do a forum search. I believe that there are a number of posts regarding this and other noise issues with the SS 60.

Edited: Typo

I had the same issue. Changing the reverb valve sorted it

Hi. Bluesky. Is this about the Supersonic 22w combo or the Supersonic 60w combo?
I bought the SS 60w amp head and sold it because they do not have reverb.
I bought the SS 60w 1x12 combo amp with reverb. No problems at all with the reverb.

Did you mean issues with the SS 22 or the SS 60w? Thanks. Toppscore

Hey guys, I see this has been discussed at length on here but for clarity sake... I brought my used (new to me) ss 60 home and played around on it for about a 1/2 hour before noticing I have no reverb... I turned the dial up to 3, then 8, then 10 and only then at 10 I have reverb... very ever so faintly though. I mean super weak. Is this normal? Is this just how the reverb is on this amp? Mind you, I also have a 65 deluxe reverb and so I am used to much more... Also, after playing for ten minutes or so like this I started getting the dreaded feed back Ive seen so many complain about on the boards. Im not too upset because I knew what I was getting into before purchasing this amp but I had high hopes of getting lucky. So this brings me to my final question... should i just replace the reverb tubes? Is this the best bet?

Thanks

Start by cleaning plugs and sockets and reseat the plugs. Of course try a couple tube changes in the reverb circuit. I would get a ANOS 12at7 for the present at7 in it and a good ANOS 12ax7 for the other reverb tube. You will see a difference if all else is working right.
