Yes I had actually seen that before. For me however I like the idea of the lower power/lower output. I've got a really gOod band situation and everyone is pretty mature about adult stage levels. Many amps much over 20w are hard to tame. If anything the ss22 seemed louder than the DRRI.

Ah. But a good place to start. I use a 15 watt Princeton and a 30-watt AC30 tapped down to 22 watts. Why should the average Joe buy a 50-watt or more amp? Wouldn't a better purchase be an SM57? :)
