Are you running a 5751 in V3? If you really want to get great reverb try a Mullard CV4024

Do you use the tremolo much? If not V5 is not that important, I usually put whatever in there, doesn't have an effect on tone... if you play thru the Vibrato channel then V2-V4 are the most important preamp tubes IMO.

5751 in V3 and I will check out the Mullard, thanks. :D

As far as using the Vibrato channel, I'm using both channels. I'm channel jumping both channels.

Edit: My bad. I don't use the vibrato.

+1 on the Mullard CV

How you liken the combo of the CR and the stock?
Just replaced my stock with a CR myself. Should have done it long ago...great tone and it isn't broken in yet :!:

I like the combo a lot. I haven't really sat down and tried to define the tones, how they differ and why I like them together yet. But I bet some Twin users has mixed those two together before.
