One of the new tube 5w deals may be good for you.

will it be good for recording? I notice it has only a 10 inch speaker. Part of the reason I wanted the DRRI was for recording, I've been trying to make my songs sound as top notch as possible.

Considering how many classic recordings by some very successful people have been made over the years with just a basic Champ with an 8" speaker, I think you'll be okay on that front.

Smaller speakers are much better for recording, generally - much easier to find that sweet spot with the mic, and it generally sits extremely well in the mix without really having to do much to it at all.

+1 on the above statement. I've had the opportunity to to listen to a recording of a champion 600 that sounded pretty close to a twin reverb. When mic'ed correcty, they sound really good. You might even consider a champion 600, for that matter.
Good luck.
