listed locally on CL! Still stock w/ the black tint Chinese tube. I did notice that it gets hot as hell w/i just a few minutes. This is my first tube amp and know little to nothing other than it sounds great thru the 65r and 25r I have. I saw your posts and checked out the vid. How much should I expect to pay for replacement tubes. They just pop right out right

"Pop" is a bad word to use in conjunction to tubes...
Yes, they are fairly easy to replace...don't squeeze too hard on the glass or you'll lose a finger or two.

You can spend as much or as little as your wallet allows.

Please explain what you mean by that. How are you connecting these amps together?

Bill the little champ has a plug in for speaker or ext. cab. Run your speaker cable from the champ to the effects power amp in and there you go. Might work, tc Mess

not at the same time, tried them separately via cable disconnect in the back after removing back cover. It's like the Champ was made just to power a ext. cab. However doing a Keef type set up would be nice. :D It could possibly be done thru the stereo outputs of my digitech rp250 w/ more cables.

Yes, I know that the Champ has an output jack for the speaker. If you were to bother reading the link I posted earlier in this thread you would see that I have one and probably know more about it than you ever will. And for the record, running the speaker out from the Champ to an effects loop power amp input is probably the worst thing you could do when you consider the impedance mismatch between the two and the signal level coming out of the Champ. I asked the question of the OP because I wanted to make sure that he was NOT doing as you suggest.

The only thing you should be connecting the C600 speaker output jack to is another speaker, preferably an external speaker cabinet equipped with a 4 ohm speaker. I connect mine to a cab with a 12", 8 ohm Celestion and it sounds fantastic. If you are connecting the C600 to a Frontman 65R or 25R, you should be DISCONNECTING the speaker of those amps and connecting it to the C600 speaker out jack. DO NOT connect the speaker out jack of the C600 to any sort of line level or other low level input.

I know connecting the champ has I stated was not proper but I could not think of any other way he did it. Unless he disconnected the 65r speaker then connected a cable to the spaeker.By the way this is a forum of info don't be so sensitive when someone posts are not right maybe we too are learning. You were once a beginner many moons ago. Thanks for the info
