Well guys you may remember my Tramp Head build thread a couple of months back, I thought the little Head deserved it's own matching cab. I received the custom made cab today, matched Rough Blonde Tolex and I decided on Wheat grill cloth. I love this little rig, it puts out huge tones for a 12 Watter (it also becomes a 6 Watter with a 6V6). 8)

Here's the back, nice and deep, plenty of internal volume and the speaker I went with is a Hemp cone Cannabis Rex. It also came with a spare back panel that turns it into a closed back for a change in tone.

Nicely done.
Is the design similar to the divided by 13 CJ 11?
I too went with the emi cannibis Rex hemp cone
8ohms to try out with my ltd drri.
Worst case scenario I don't like it, I order the weber 12f150
50W. And use the cannibis Rex in the 2x12 cab with a red white
And blues

Thanks guys,

bluesstrattone, I don't know much about the CJ11, but the Tramp's DNA is solidly in the Tweed Champ/Princeton vein with a lot of added flexability. I'm running a 6L6GC in my build at the moment so it is about 10 - 12 Watts, kind of has a low-powered Bassman tone happening with the 6L6.

Tramp details in the link.

Snowy...Looks Fantastic together, that is a schweet looking amp and rates a HOLY SCHMOKES on the T2 Scale!

That amp head needs a custom name plate right in the middle...You have any ideas for one or are you going to leave it bare?

Snowy,

I had these made for my 5F6A clone build:

They came from here:

To finish things off, I did this on my computer:

Notice how I carefully "reliced" it by smudging the ink while gluing it in place.

Thanks heaps guys.

Thanks for the good ideas too, much appreciated, I'll have to think about what I'm going to do regarding a name for it. Nice work on that Bassman Bill, I enjoyed your build thread on that amp a lot, I think the plaques and the tube label look great.

Thanks. They do give it some provenance and make it truly yours. You can actually claim your amp is one of a kind. :D

very nice job on amp and cab!

Also does badges, custom speaker cloth, faceplates, etc. Haven't used them yet but may want to - their stuff looks great!
