Hi folks

I have been offered this:

Fender blues junior II black tolex made in mexico with mesa boogie valves for 200 €

Peavey classic 20 tweed for my marshall valvestate avt50 plus 200 €

Which offer is better?

Which amp is better, may you tell me something about the peavey? I heard is even better than the classic 30 or 50...

The € is because i live in Spain, the current used blues juniors price here is about the 350 €, so i achieved this for a very low price, but if this amp is bad i wont buy it of course...

Otherwise the peavey seems amazing but i would have to include my marshall avt50, dont know the current price of them used, but they are about 360-400 €, the one i am talking about was offered for 400 €

Greetings

Greetings :)

Peavey Classic 20 is one of the few Peavey amps that I like. It's almost a toss up whether I would prefer it over the Bjr. Considering that the avt50 has to be included to get the Peavey I'd probably go with the Bjr.

I have not played the Peavey but I can say my Blues Junior has not let me down, and
it's been gigging every weekend for quite a few years.

The Peavey Classic 20 is a sought after, rock solid reliable great sounding amp. Tone is really subjective. To me, the Blues Jr sounds boxy in stock form, slightly better modded, Peaveys don't really need modification to sound great and I'd take one over the Blues Jr any day of the week. I don't know if they sell Egnater amps where you are, but they make some really fine amps. I have the Rebel 20 myself it it's IMO better than anything in the HRD series and IMO the Peavey amps are too. YMMV I've played them both and was never impressed with the Blues jr.
