Been hunting for one, actually 2 of these puppies. One to use and one to set aside. I've read/heard so many great things with this small monster, my dealer is trying to shy me away from it? wtf!!. Is it really that good?

This has got to be the best bang for your buck in decades. Nothing right now outside nor inside comes close to this. Fender has outdone themselves again. They could've still made this in the good 'ol USA and peeps would still pay even 1-2 bills on top.

Not sure if any guitar mags did a write-up/review on them yet.

Peace!!

Rasputan,

I checked with the purchasing department, and a huge shipment of the 2-button optional footswitch you desire will be in our warehouse next week.

How soon your particular dealer gets theirs depends on: when they ordered it, "if" they ordered it, where they are located, etc.

Demand exceeded the supply on this item. Thanks for your patience.

Shane

Shane,,, Thanks a lot... The store ordered
it about three months ago... It's a little store
in a little town on the Southern Oregon
Coast,,, so I guess I still got a bit of a wait...

What kind and how many buttons will it have? Would a regular Fender Channel/Reverb work?

The footswitch has two buttons, with LEDs. One switches channels, the other turns effects on and off.

The DRRI-style pedal will only switch channels, won't control the effects, because the newer Fender amps use voltage sensing to decide what to do, not multiple on-off switches. As Shane explained it, that lets you use any guitar cord or speaker cord to connect the pedal, and you're not dependent on some special cable or special connector.
