I need to order a power transformer for a little practice amp from Hammond. Hammond lists all their secondary side voltages with a number value followed by a C.T. Does this mean they measured from one side of the coil to the center tap to derive that number? The transformer I'm replacing is 16V from each side of the coil to the center tap, but 32V from one side of the coil to the other. Do I need a 16 or 32 volt transformer???

Hi vrogers64,

A transformer listed as "32 volt C.T.", would be 32 volts as measured from one side of the coil to the other, and 16 volts as measured from either side of the coil to the center tap.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
