Hey! What about a pic or two? Especially of the back with the panel removed :o , although I know that might be too much trouble, but at least a shot of the amp.

Here is a few with the back off, I replaced the tube, swapped out/ switched from one to the other but it still has the rattle. I've noticed it only starts to happen after it's hot….the hotter it gets the more it rattles, also has a weird harmonic sound on certain notes when it gets hot... I was on the phone with the Fender tech guy about 5 or 6 times yesterday trying all the different scenarios, after about the 6th call the tech guy said let’s just call the store and get them to order you another one and play this till it gets there…. They think it has something to do with the tube socket/ receptacle???? or a power tube, I called the store and they are getting with Fender next Tuesday as Monday they are closed…. I’m happy now…. the 2nd Fender guy was really cool as the first guy told me to send it in for repair....lol, heck, the amp was less the 12 hours old....lol

Sweet! Thank you. :) I can hear the song "Dirty Movies" in my head while looking at the pics with the back off; "Take it off.... take it off, wooo!" Looks like some quality parts used in this amp, the Spragues for one.

If not a preamp tube, it might be an output tube rattling as suggested, my bet is the rectifier, but sounds like you are getting it sorted out. Keep us posted.

lol @ shimm
Ok, up-date… I just hooked up an old 4-10 Marshall cab my Dad had with the stock G10L-35s and well, doesn’t sound as crisp as the G12-65 in the EC but the harmonic hum sound I was getting on certain note has gone :? … its real clear and notes are really pronounced well. Went back to the G12 in the EC and I get that funny harmonic sound coming from single notes  …. Could this be caused by the speaker not being broke in yet???????, I know i'm getting another from Fender but I just want to see why this one has all the little probs.... is this like the HD of motorcycles.... man I’m learning a lot here but still confused….but this is fun!!!! My Gretsch Executive is in transit too.....will be here next week!!!!!

If it is indeed a tube rattling, the tube might only rattle when the speaker in the amp is vibrating it. Changing to the external speaker cab eliminates the vibration within the amp cab. Possibility anyway. Using a pot-holder or glove, can you grasp each tube to see if the noise changes? (tubes are hot!) I suspect the one on the far left (rect) looking at the back of the amp.

Thanks shimm, call me crazy but this is a different sound all together from the rattle??? More like a harmonic hum/hiss noise coming from the speaker/amp but only on certain note/frequency. It can he heard at very low or high volume but is not there when going through the cab.

Just be sure to eliminate the tubes as a possibility (your first thought, remember?), before worrying too much about what else it could be. I would still try grasping each tube firmly with a gloved hand to see if the noise changes (including output and rectifier). It's just that, for the most part, tubes are the source of most tube amp problems, and usually the easiest thing that anyone can try as far as troubleshooting. Not always, but the usual first suspects. Of course, when you get your new tubes from Fender, replace them one at a time, checking for noise with each new tube. Only exchange tubes with the amp switched off.
