Best wishes with the lessons and the playing, and I hope that it helps to keep the arthritis at bay! I find that my old hands don't do what I want either, but I am somewhat older than you are. However, I try to keep chugging along, and even if I don't play well anymore I still get great pleasure from my guitars!

Retirement? Well I'm officially retired, but there's always something to do...! :D

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid ending up as a Wal-Mart greeter when I retire. I'm sure you have something equivalent in the UK.

Sorry to hear that. My understanding of big box store shopping in the UK is only from what I have seen in the movie "The Full Monty".

Flame wars help prevent arterial calcification.

Ya know, looking at the post counts of everyone who responded (except for tyrone, BLUESMAN1904 and bluesstrattone) leads me to believe that we all need to get out more. I have an excuse: I'm home sick today.

I hope it isn't anything serious enough to prevent you from participating in the next forum flame war.

Nah. Just a bad migraine. When it hurts I get really mean. But the meds keep me mellow. :|
