Ya know, looking at the post counts of everyone who responded (except for tyrone, BLUESMAN1904 and bluesstrattone) leads me to believe that we all need to get out more. I have an excuse: I'm home sick today.

I hope it isn't anything serious enough to prevent you from participating in the next forum flame war.

Nah. Just a bad migraine. When it hurts I get really mean. But the meds keep me mellow. :|

I turned 58 April 2nd. :D

I started playing guitar in the late 60's (see photo in my sig), and quit in the early 80's. I was playing mostly classical by the time I quit and was pretty good. I decided to start playing again in 2010, however arthritis has taken its toll and my fingers don't move like they used to. I take lessons (which I never did before), playing mostly Blues. I really enjoy the technical side of amps and guitars (I have an EE degree), building and modding amps and guitars. I am now actively studying amp design with an eye toward doing something along those lines when/if I am able to retire in several years.
