I think you'll find that Bill does a whole lot more than merely "play at home", and it involves something a lot more substantial than the relatively-microscopic world of electric guitars and amps -- though he is quite adept at building, repairing, and modding both and is a RESPECTED member of this forum community.

You might keep that in mind for when your pieceoffuckingshit amp takes a dump on you and come here cryin' the blues and looking for answers, cupcake.

Just a friendly word to the wise......

Thread is in humor, right? I mean, I think Hendrix or SRV would sound most like Hendrix or SRV even on a beat-up Telecaster through a bombed out Silvertone amp. Right?

Or maybe, it is the equipment.

But could Hendrix sound like SRV (or vice versa) playing through totally unrelated equipment as is the case in this thread?

Of course you do.

Now if you could only master the intricacies of an amp's volume, treble, and bass controls......

If bullshit were a military officer's collar brass you'd be a twenty-friggin'-star general.

I have one of those. All the knobs are stuck on zero.

Have any links to your touring band?
Sorry man, but we've had a lot of bs artists in the past that just turned out to be little annoying kids. Don't get me wrong, there's some young folks on here that are downright talented and I like them and respect them.
I'm not buying any of your story though. If you tour and record, ask your recording engineer amp tech how to set up your amp.
No need to try to try and impress anyone here, we're all just a bunch or regular guys on the forum.

Kinda have to wonder why all those fancy amps the OP claims to own aren't listed in his sig.

I think he's the reincarnated visage of "ilovemesomeSRV" or whatever he called his latest persona before he was banned (again).

Yet another bullshit artist. He's just not too good at it.
The Troll comment is funny considering the photo he has a a tag line. Looks like something from Monty Python's "Holy Grail".
I know just about every man with a wife and two kids admires the assclown like the one in that photo. It's a great roll model for the kiddies.
I can mod amps, but John 5's amazing tone eludes me.

I could say I tour and record and make a living at it....but I would have already starved to death!
It doesn't take much to know when somebody is blowing smoke...pretty obvious here.

And another one bites the dust.
Gotta go tour and support my family. Playing a couple of local bars does not mean you're touring.
