Does John 5 play a Frontman 25R? For that matter, does John 5 use any of the equipment that you list in your sig? Even if the answer to both questions is "Yes", the chances of you sounding like John 5 are slim to none. Work on developing your own tone instead of trying to copy someone elses.

Add one of these babies to your pedalboard and it won't matter what your amp's settings are. Or even what kind of amp it is......

Saw those at Guitar Center. They were on special for Mother's Day. Only $29.95. Regularly $299.95. I bought four: one for each of my amps.

Of course you don't.

All you really need is to find your guitar hero's post on some forum where he details the exact front-panel settings on his bright, shiny, entry-level Fender amp. You know......the one he used on that Grammy-winning record.

Let us know how that turns out.

Thread is in humor, right? I mean, I think Hendrix or SRV would sound most like Hendrix or SRV even on a beat-up Telecaster through a bombed out Silvertone amp. Right?

Or maybe, it is the equipment.
