I have a stage 100 DSP Head . The question is , Can I run the XLR line out direct to my DAW with cab unplugged without harming the amp?

I used to have the Stage 100 DSP combo but I'm not sure how the XLR worked since I never used it. I do have a PDF copy of the manual that I can send you if you wish.

Not a Stage 100 DSP but a Stage 100 with XLR out none-the-less:

http://support.fender.com/schematics/gu ... ematic.pdf

Take a look in the lower right of the schematic on page 1. You'll see that the XLR is in parallel with the speaker output and a simple resistive voltage divider is used to knock the output down to line level. Looks like -6 dBV into 600 ohms.
