No, the X2 has some different voices which can be found in the product manual which you can download from the support section of this website. You can compare those with the XD voices also available from the downloaded manual. I bought a new X2 head and prefer the settings to those on the XD however I also like most on the XD.

I have both right now and am trying to decide what to keep. I really miss the Hot Rod voicings on the x2. It does a a couple heavier voicings I like. This is going to be a tough decision. It also seems the fuse software is limited support at best.

After a couple weeks of play, the Super Champ X2 is going away. I tried my hardest to love it, but the limited Fuse support really hurt it for me. That is essentially the selling point and there are only 8 voicings available. And one of those was from me. I also found that whenever I would switch back to the XD after playing the X2 for a while, I was always stunned by the tone difference. Channel one on both amps sounds great. Channel 2 on the X2 just sounds different. It is hard to describe, but it is definately lacking in something. I even connected the X2 to the 12" matching cab and it didn't do it for me.

If you are looking at these two amps, you might try and find a nice used XD. You will save money and have better tone (but you will lose features).
