Recently acquired a Frontman 25r that had been trashed, I know I could go out and buy a new one for $100 or so but I want to bring life back to this amp. I need to cross reference some pot # that I cannot locate: Volume A50K; Gain 30C100K; Drive Volume 30C100K; Treble 30C100K; Bass 30C250K. Can anyone help me

The numbers you reference are not part numbers. They represent the value of the pot and the type of taper. Take a look at this page:

http://www.alphapotentiometers.net/html ... urves.html

For instance, the 30C100K treble pot represents a pot with a value of 100 Kohms. The "C" represents a reverse logrithmic taper, and the "30" represents the change in input to output voltage (in %) related to the rotation of the pot (also in %). Not all manufacturers use the same nomenclature.

Do you suspect that these pots are bad for some reason?

You might be able to find them here:

Thanks guys. Yes I do have the scehmatics. Pot shafts are either snapped off or badly bent so need replacing.

Good luck. There's a reason that Fender doesn't waste time and money fixing these things.

BTW, I have a Frontman 25R myself with an Eminence Ragin Cajun speaker. I love the cleans. It sounds really neat when played in conjunction with my highly modified Champion 600.

Don't know if you're still interested.... I just went through a repair on a Frontman 15. Yeah, I know their cheap but when you get one for $5 and just need a few parts it becomes the thrill of the hunt to find the parts.
Anyway, check out these guys.....
http://www.studiosoundelectronics.com/
then look under Guitar Amp Parts. These guys had the pots & connector I needed to repair the amp. cost me $12 but worth it. You have to browse around the Fender-specific lists but I'll bet you find all you need....... good luck!
