Could people please tell me what their favourite Fender Amp (currently in production) is and why also forget prices.
I am currently in the market for a new amp but just cannot decide. I would be very interested in hearing different views.
Thanks

For proven sound and reliability: DRRI

For sound alone (jury's out on reliability since it's pretty new): Super Sonic

Read my post on the Fender Super Sonic 112 combo. Best overall amp ever built by anyone ever at any price. From clean with rich tone to Jimmy Page. This does it all. You will never need another amp even if your playing changes. This goes with you. 2 clean vintage chanels and then hit the 2 gain knobs. Yes 2 gains. Incredible super gain but with the grat tone and note distinction still there. Unreal. Blows away all Marshall tube amps and anything else. I too tried them all.

Ok with money not being an object I will go with the '65 Super Reverb Ri hands down. The '65 Deluxe Reverb Ri being a close second.

Money no object?

No question about it - The Cyber Twin SE

It sounds great.
Has a collection of 50 amps built into it.
It sounds great.
Has about a hundred custom shop presets in permanent memory.
It sounds great.
Has about a hundred players presets that you can edit, or save to.
It sounds great.
Has an effects loop, recording connections .... and

Oh .. did I mention that IT SOUNDS GREAT!

The Super Reverb amp built into it is just one of my favorites.

My Twin Reverb reissue and Deluxe Reverb reissue, as well as all the rest of my amps, just set in the closet, taking up space, since I got the Cyber Twin SE. It will do all their sounds, plus more, and at any volume from a comfortable bedroom level to louder than needed for anything other than stadium rock. (might even do that too though)

IMHO, I think the Bassman Reissue wins this hands down! This amp is voodoo magic with a tweed cover! Simple, versatile, never goes out of "style" and is loud enough to cut just about any bar band situation or can be reigned in to sound as sweet and pretty as you want. It takes pedals very well which means you can radically change your sound without buying a new amp too. This is the sound of the classics or the classics soon to be.
