hi. im new here and i wanted to ask you guys a question.

i have this lacquered blues deluxe which i have been having a problem with. i wanted to know if its a cheap fix or if i should take it to a tech.

clean channel works fine. when i switch to the gain channel and put the drive past 7 i get a nasty sounding "feedback-like" sound. if i move the eq , the feedback starts changing tones. ive replaced all the tubes with my blues deluxe reissue and nothing.

has anyone had this problem before?
thanks!

It seems that you have an oscillator in the preamp as you change the tone with the eq. Since you already changed all valves, it's a good idea to visit a amp tech (a good one). It could be a component like a capacitor or a bad solder joint.
:? :? :?
