I must say it's a pretty impressive little amp... I've found it to be more toneful than my Mustang III so far, albeit, not quite as flexible.

Channel 1 is great, nice and full... sounded fantastic with the two strats I tried with it.

Channel 2/Amp Models... they all sound great to my ears, especially after some tweaking w/ the Fender Fuse Software.

I'm playing it though my newly completed cabinet that has a Cannabis Rex in it... if anything, the set up is a little bass heavy, my suspicion is that it's the cabinet. Would closing off more of the back reduce or add bass? Anyhow, it's manageable to dial in a pretty good EQ setting... you need Fuse to dial in mids but it all worked flawlessly for me.

All in all, it's a great sounding little amp with lot of headroom and some great tones from both channels... admittedly, I haven't explored the heavier settings but the vintage tones are all there and sound fantastic.

I'll try to get a vid up when time allows, cheers, JG

You should get a custom cabinet built for the amp to match you cool speaker cabinet.

Keep the back open & try pulling it away from the wall.

I got mine 2 days ago and loving it so far. To be honest I have always been skeptical of digital anything but when i played it back to back with several amps in the store I had to let my ears be the guide. My main beef with the modelers is that often the overdriven tones sound fake (like listening to a recording of an amp and not standing in front of one) but so far the new champ just kills it. I hooked up fuse but didnt tweak anything yet but turned some knobs and stuff. I like how on the supersonic model you get the second gain knob. very cool. I have a tech 21 power engine 60 im going to experiment with running the line out into that for increased volume at live gigs. im looking forward to reading more about other peoples experiences and what not as more people start using it.
cheers

line out sounds really good into the tech 21. i imagine it sounds very good through a PA system as well. Interestingly the volume controls the line out level as well. often line outs just kick out a line level signal but thats not the case with the SCX2.so far my favorite tones are the clean channel, the champ channel(preset 1) and the 60s british. All personal pref of course. im running a crapcaster git, put the gain on about 3 treb on 7 and bass on 8 gets a very nice crispy champ tone. i think they nailed the sound of a tiny speaker being blown up on that channel when you dime it. nice job.the power engine 60 is a great way to make your SCX2 a whole lot louder. to my ears the tone doesnt suffer at all.
