Hi there!

I have a twin amp and I am considering going for the low output option, taking 2 tubes/valves and setting impedance to 8ohms. 50 watt are more than enough for rehearsing and 15 watt is the ideal for home use.

Does anyone tried this and is it recommendable?

It seems the best option, alternative would be either buying another valve amp (expensive) or a cheapo solid state one (and spending the rest of my life comparing david and goliath...)

thanks!!!!

Have you considered an attenuator?
