I have a fairly new (just over a year old) Fender Vintage Modified amp that I love, but on a gig last night the chorus stopped working. The other three "stations" on the pedal work fine.

I checked for secure cable connection, and even reversed it from amp back to pedal. All other three light up when clicked on the pedal and work - reverb, distort, echo - and I've made sure I punch the "Chorus" adjustment on the two-in-one setting on the amp front. I've punched the little switch by the Chorus vol. too.... bad cable? Bad pedal? Bad effect built into the amp???

Hi jay k.,

With foot switch unplugged from amp, does the chorus button on the amp work? That could indicate whether the problem is with the foot switch or amp.

Thanks! I've determined it's the cable between the four-button footswitch and the amp. (Borrowed the cable from a guy who has the same amp.) I've searched around the fender.com site, and can't figure out how to order one!

Seems like we should be able to order parts. Any ideas?

Cool, but you can't buy from the Fender site, have to use a retailer.

Looks like a 5-pin midi cable.

Those Fender cables (essentially a 5-pin MIDI cable) don't hold up. I've had to replace mine twice now. I went with a cheap, 3rd-party cable. (They were so cheap that I bought two so I would have a spare). So far, my cheap cable is holding up and I still have the spare.
