Hello everyone,
my brother has come to own a Hotrod Deville with a chrome control panel. Most of the silk-screened lettering has chipped off of it and due to some rust issues as well, we both feel the need to replace it. After a call to the local authorized Fender repair store, it seems a lost cause to buy a new one.

Where would I go to find a replacement?

I guess the worse case would be to make a new one and get it hand-lettered, but that seems an expensive route to go...

The question is do you really need lettering ?

If yes,you have to do yourself.
- you have to prepare a mask that you stick on and paint + vernis, then unstick

Make some trials first to make sure about paint

Hi Dan B,

I read that Weber makes custom faceplates. Check the site below, there is a contact link at the bottom of the page. I don't know if they can reprint your existing plate or if you have to buy one of theirs. If they don't make them, maybe they know who does. Quite a job to completely disassemble the amp to change the plate. :|

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
