Just wanted to update this thread to add that I finally got some custom covers made for the Head and Cab. I don't bash or throw my gear around but I do like protecting it from little dings and knocks on doorways etc when moving from house to car and back again. I went with Studio Slips to have these made as Susan there had impressed me with the quality and workmanship (workwomanship?) of the covers I'd previously ordered. Anyway they turned up and the fit was again made-to-order and perfect, the quality of materials and work is awesome, so if you want some nice padded covers for your gear, I can highly recommend Susan at Studio Slips.

Looks like they'll get the job done, Snowy.

Rawk on!

Great work on this whole thing Snowy...you are just missing one thing...that amp needs a nice name plate...I know Bluesky got one made for his build, would really cap off that beauty

Thanks Folks, I added some Dog-Tags to her today.

I gave up trying to think of something clever for a nameplate, so Stephen from Trinity sent me a Trinity Amps nameplate. You can still distinguish mine as a customer built amp because the nameplate reads "Trinity Amps - Components Inside". The amps actually built by Trinity read "Trinity Amps - Toronto Canada".

I think it gives the amp a more "finished" look as suggested. I also decided to add the "Eminence Inside" plate that came with the CRex speaker to the cab.

I'm loving this little amp, with the 6L6GC she has a real "I'm a little Bassman" vibe going.

Thanks for the heads-up bluesky636!

I almost clicked the link, while thinking; "Didn't No457 Snowy already explain why the MOSFET was used?" Yes, he did.

Oh yeah, the amp and cab look sweet! Much better with the nameplate, really sets it off. :D
