I have a Fender Showman 4-12 cab that I am running with my Prosonic head. It seems to be recent, not one that would have been with the original Showman or Dual Showman amps. Does anyone have any info on these?

Thanx in advance....

Sam from KC

In the late '80s, Fender offered a tube Showman in snakeskin Tolex with red knobs and black grill cloth -- if your cab has those cosmetics, that's where it came from. There may have also been a gray-carpeted version a la the M80 amps. IIRC, it offered a quartet of Fender/Eminence drivers of nondescript tone. More recently, Fender made the Cyber Twin in head form and trotted out this same enclosure for use with it -- this time in traditional black Tolex with silver-white cloth. It was designated a "Showman 412S" and equipped with Celestion G12-80P speakers.

That is it! Showman 412S. Definitely Fender Black Tolex/Silver Sparkle Cloth cosmetics. I do remember them coming out with the Cyber Twin Heads. Thanx!

What part of Kozmik City, Sam?

I lived in Grandview for a time.
