Hello friends, I tell you, I have a FENDER STAGE 160 DSP amplifier, which buy 2nd hand, after months of normal use, when I started playing my guitar sound was cut and then was returning to normal, but the amplifier was still lit with red light, only the sound of my guitar was cut and then come back, and not to do with this problem really has me mad .. I've changed cables, guitar and the problem is the same .. hopefully I can help the would greatly appreciate it, deberas .... thanks ...

Hi nazareno74,

It is likely an intermittent connection inside the amp. I would suspect the input jack first, and/or solder joints of the jack. You'll have to open the amp up and check the jacks and solder joints. Be aware of lethal voltages inside the amp. :idea:

thanks friend, I really was desperate to know the problem of amino cabinet that send a technician costs a lot in my country, I will try to watch what you say, thank you very much

Now one last question, what is the input jack which you speak? Your answer would help me a lot: D

That is where the guitar cable plugs into the amp.

Today disassemble the amp and turned around and saw the welds, I think I'll start welding again to see if you have any false or cold welding, also measure out the other components of the amplifier
