Two 8 ohms in series is 16 ohms , two 8 ohms in parallele is 4 ohms. How are your speakers ?

................?

Most of the time Fender are in parallele.

Unfortunately, the schematic for the amp doesn't show the speaker wiring. The owner's manual doesn't specify either. Hopefully the OP knows how to tell the difference.

Hi,
The nominal speaker impedance for the Super-Sonic Twin is 16 Ohms. The two 8 Ohm Celestions are in series to make 16 Ohms. For "impedance matched performance", the impedance selector should nominally be set to 16 Ohms for the Super-Sonic Twin when used as a combo amp.

FYI - The Super-Sonic Twin will drive three 4x12" 16 Ohm cabinets in addition to its own internal speaker complement if the impedance selector is set to 4 Ohms.

Best Regards,
Sam
