Other than swapping the preamp tubes out to smooth out the tone a bit and replace a microphonic one, I am very happy with the amp.

However I am getting a ground loop-like hum when I turn the reverb up, even with the volumes down on both channels. Also, I can hear some sort of slight rattle when I tap on the top of the amp cabinet as if something is loose inside the chassis. Maybe I just answered my own question, but... I really don't use reverb anyway (for now), but anyone have any ideas? The reverb DOES work, but it is noisy and the issue was present right out of the box prior to the preamp tube swap. This amp is only two weeks old, and was mail-ordered or else I would have taken it back for an exchange. :(

Can't help you with the hum problem, but I had a the same rattle problem on a Marshall DSL100. I traced it to the reverb tank and discoverd a broken spring inside, I removed it,still had a rattle and rechecked the tank and there was still a small piece of steel wire rattling in a solder joint. Once that was taken out the rattle stopped , however my reverb tank only had one spring after this. I never replaced it, but I think the tanks are onlyaround $30 to replace.
