I've had one for two years. Bulb burned out. That's all.

I have had one for a year and it has been very reliable. Good tone, but a little loud for my small studio. I did a speaker swap with an Eminence Cannibas Rex and it has some great tone. I also ordered a Weber Mini Mass attenuator to tame it down a little for my studio.

Sounds great when I can open it up in a large room with drums and a bass. Mixes very well with my two strats and my tele. I am mostly playing blues rock and classic rock stuff, mostly Gilmour type..

I also have a Egnater Tweaker 15 and it makes the stock BDRI speaker sound real good in a 1 x 12 ext cab...

I am overdriving the BDRI with a Hardwire CM2 and a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet. With both of those cut on and also a EH Soul Preacher it gets a damn full tone with sustain forever..

I also hook it up to a 2 x12 ext cab with two 16ohm Eminence Texas Heats, gets a lot of headroom then...

I've one since 2 years, very happy with the sound. The first time I bring back to home I had 2 troubles : The speaker was failed (bad sound on certain notes) and one valve was making a noise like a horse after training ! After maintenance, no issues at all.
According to a lot of subjects in this forum, Hot Rod serie are not known as the most reliable amps made by 7ender mainly due to soldering issue on valve sockets or "white" resistors.
Now let's play 8) 8)

I have a BDRI that I love. It was my main amp until I built a Weber 5F6A clone. Do a search on my user name for a number of posts with tube, speaker, and bias recommendations.

OK, just ordered it from MF and I got 15% off. So instead of $750 it came to $637.50 with free shipping, come on UPS, I'm waiting.

I've owned mine since Aug. 8 2009.
No problems, yet.
I play loud.
Replaced the speaker with a Celestion Gold in June(?) of 2010.
Sounds good to me.
I like the versatility.
Use your guitar's vol knob or an eq between guitar and amp to tame the loudness. channel (1) gets great bass while Channel (2) is brighter.
You can plug the left channel of an ipod into the "Power Amp In"
and listen to your ipod or aother device' headphone jack - control vol and tone with the player.
Preamp out can go to your puter's or mixer's line-in.
A very decent versatile amp.
:)

I've had mine for a couple of months. Very sweet sounding amp. I love it! Especially since I put in a couple of NOS preamps tubes. Gives it a more vintage sound.

I can't believe you couldn't find anything about this amp with the search. Bluesky636, myself, and others have several threads about this amp. I found them pretty easy. They're here, trust me.

The OP was probably doing a search on "Blues Deluxe Reissue, Bad Stuff" instead of "Blues Deluxe Reissue, Good Stuff."

That would make a difference!

I just found my thread on the second page, titled "New Amp Day, Blues Deluxe Reissue". Check it out. Lots of good info there.

Very good deal indeed!! Got mine for 450 Euros, used.
Fantastic amp but it delivers great sound only at higher volumes and believe me, it is loud as hell!!!
Better have your wife bake some cakes for the neighbors, ha ha ha.

Unfortunately I had to sell mine when I went through a very hard time 4 years ago in 2007.
