sounds like a plan.

With the AB763 Super reverb, you'll find the output transformer is not as linear, giving it more "sag" for that 40 watts.

On my Bandmaster (in pic below), I had to replace the transformers as 1 was shot and the other one was so far out of spec as a replacement it was laughable; it was also hanging from only one bolt. I went with Mercury Magnetics, but Hammond also has suitable replacement trannys.

Well your question has finally been answered. Looks like Fender has finally done it. So far the Princeton Reverb, Deluxe Reverb and the Twin reverb have surfaced. Check out this link to the Dealer who is taking orders. I believe it's the same Dealer selling on eBay.
