Can someone please help me with the specs of my amps speakers. I blew one out and i'm not quiet sure if I get 2- 50 watt speakers or 2 at a higher watt.Id like to replace both at once or at least though it was a good idea too. I know my amp puts out 85 watts total. I play rock, hard rock, clean a lot too and i use a POD HD 500. I usually keep my Twin in the vibrato channel and keep the volume on 5 and control my main volume with my POD volume output, usually somewhere about 4. I've been reading good things about Eminence. Please give your suggestions and input. Thanks

As long as both speakers add to at least 85 watts, you should be ok with 50 watt speakers. Give a look at JBLs. They can take the abuse, and have real good cleans, from what I've heard. Though they will add considerable weight.

I know someone with some original Fender/Eminence Speakers from a Twin who might part with them...PM me and I will put you in touch with him.

If you want to stay true to fender, a set of D120's that are in good shape or reconed would be great. Also expensive.

I have a set of Weber California Ceramic 12's in my Bandmaster combo, which are thought of as the current best D120 replica out there. I like the clean chime, but it's a little too bright sometimes.

Really very happy with Warehouse Speakers G12C's, which I have in my Showman. Tames some of the bite and sounds warm and great. Will be selling the Webers soon.

I wouldn't get Celestion unless you want to radically change the tone of your amp.

At the very high end, Kendrick's Black Frame is considered the be-all Fender 12"; it's also $150 per speaker...
