The Excelsior amp really looks cool. What especially intrigues me about it is the accordion input. I play both electric guitar and electric accordion, and have been looking for an amp that can handle both. I haven't seen an amp with an accordion input since the old Ampeg Gemini amp line. Does anyone know if you can really plug an accordion into the Excelsior, or is "accordion" just the name for a different amp sound/channel?
I am asking this because when I used to amplify my accordion for band at music school, I always had to plug it into a bass amp, because it could blow a normal guitar amp. Therefore this information is important for my purchasing decision, as I don't want to buy a new amp only to blow the speaker right away. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!
Steve

yes you can plug an accordion into one in,check it out.

Well lets not forget that tremolo is real tube tremolo.. adding tank reverb
im sure would push the price up well beyond the 299.00 street price.. I mean this amp is 2 watts less than a stock blues junior and is 200.00 less on the street price

I think fender hit a home run with excelsior.. cant wait to confirm my suspicions at my local music shop

Those are cool. Definately want to try them out and if the price is right I'll probably bring at least 1 of them home.

I love that video! It was shot at a small, independent music store in Phoenix called Ziggie's. They have been in business since 1927. It has been way too long since I have been down there. I will fix that next week. :)

When I see an Excelsior, I want to try it out.
Heck, I'll try out the Greta as well--one of them may be a nice option for a cool amp to play around with at home--which, as a guitarist who plays as a hobby for fun, is where I do almost all of my guitar playing.

Is there any info on the circuit architecture of the pair? I've been planning a 5E3 build with tax refund $$, but it occurs to me I could buy both of these amps. Greta to travel in the Semi and Excelsior at home. I'm hoping for more YT vids, with pedals maybe? How 'bout a demo running Greta into an Excelsior? 8)

These are cool amps. I wish I could actually play an accordion so I could utilize that input.
