Does anyone know if the champ 600 has been discontinued. I cannot find it on the Fender website.

Hard to say. The Blues Deville Reissue was missing from the Fender product amp page earlier this week but is now back. Late last night I noticed that the Squier site showed one guitar! Things seem to disappear and reappear all the time. Whoever does the Fender site should be replaced in my opinion.

In any case, there are still plenty of Champ 600s for sale in the market place.

So's the VCXD.

Kind of odd to lump two mass production, PCB based, cheaply built, and in the case of the Champ 600 built in China (not sure where the VCXD is built) amps with custom made, hand-wired, USA built, high end amps. They don't even list the MSRP for the Champ 600 and VCXD. Fender is not known for keeping their website accurate and up to date.

Just as I was about to get one, Fender discontinued them. My local shop no longer carries them. Musician's Friend, Sweetwater, Sam Ash, American Musical Supply have all pulled their listings for them. Hopefully the used market doesn't over inflate the price now!
