Hi Everyone. I'm not sure if this has been brought up before but, As i was installing the speaker into my orange amp last nite i got to wondereing, If the speaker wires are very close or resting on the speaker magnet, would that have any effect on the sound?..

It can, depending on where and how much of the wire is on the magnet. It maybe only noticeable for certain notes, or you might not notice anything at all having such a small affect. Best practice to keep the speaker wires short, and no reason to have the wires any closer to the magnet than need be. Put your speaker wire up against the magnet and see if you notice a difference while playing as compared to when the wire is moved away from the magnet. As long as the speaker wires are short, and not forming a loop on the magnet, you probably will have no problem if a small length of wire is near/on the magnet.
