I just pulled the trigger and bought a Weber 12F150 Speaker for my HRD.From what I understand, I have to yank the chassis out and bleed the caps before doing it. Can I change it without killing myself? Whats the deal on replacing it without spending the money for a tech doing it. Recommendations please. I do have a Multimeter. Thanks in advance.

You got it. Remove the back panel and make sure that all of the big caps in the middle are discharged, check for DC volts to be low on each one, below 20 volts or so is fine, it might not be zero. Remove the tubes, marking them to put back in the same positions. Unplug speaker from jack. Remove the two screws for the reverb tank bag so you can remove the tank from the bag, unplug cables from the tank noting cable colors and positions. Remove the plastic clip holding the cables on the side of the cab.

There are a few different ways to remove the chassis. One way is to remove the two screws on top of the amp, then turn the amp upside down, or on its front, and remove the four screws on the sides while supporting the chassis so it doesn't fall. Then work the chassis out of the cab to have access to the speaker screws. It will be tight, be careful with the shielding on the cab.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
