I managed to get one of these for Christmas. I'm surprised by how little info is available on them. I don't recall ever seeing them on the fender site.

Anyhoo it's killer. Loud as hell and sound great. Looks amazing in the Red Bronco tolex. This one has the Eminence Ramrod in it. Very responsive to touch and I just can't say enough about the tone. Well done Fender. :D

Anyone have any idea how "limited" these are?

Sorry to disappoint, but except for the red tolex and the different speaker, there is nothing different between the red ones and the regular Pro Jrs.

They appear to only be sold by Sweetwater.

Yes, I knew those were the only differences. They're not exclusive to Sweetwater though. I was originally told by Long and McQuade that they were exclusive to Sweetwater but now they're on their website and in store. I bought mine locally at a non-chain store in Canada. They're also available off of a number of websites.

I was looking at a Pro Jr anyway and just thought this looks cool and a slightly different voice because of the Ramrod speaker was cool. I just wanted to know how "limited" they were out of curiosity. Not because I think I'll retire off selling it in 20 years ;)

I was using a Line6 Spider 3 prior to this (used to have Peavey Classic 50). Let's just say it's nice to have tubes again 8)

I'm surprised something so small can sound so huge. I had it on about 5 with my Keeley Java Boost and it was killer. Such a great sounding amp
