Hi,

I'm experiencing some technical problems with the Footswitch of my Fender Deluxe 112 VM Combo Amp.

The part number on the Footswitch is 0075485000.

Problem is, when the footswitch is connected to the amp, the amp gets stuck un the "Drive"channel. The "Drive" indicator is lit on the amp, and is off on the footswitch, and when i press either the "Drive"switch on the footswitch, or the "Drive"button on the amp, nothing happens.

The only way i can use both channels of the amp is disconnecting the footswitch and manually changing between channels.

I inspected the "drive" switch on the Footswitch and both the mechanism and the circuit board looks ok.

Is there a way to reset the effects module on the amp?

Please help!

First make sure you have the right switch.

Of course, it is the the one that came with the amp, the one that worked perfectly, until now.
Thanks.

Hi manueltolentino,

You might simply have a poor connection in the pedal or cable to the pedal. Check all solder joints in the pedal closely, and check the cable for broken wires or pins. Next would be to check the foot switch jack inside the amp, for broken solder joint or pin.

I am experiencing the same exact issue currently. I replaced the cable with a brand new Monster cable 5-pin midi. Now, the drive channel switch works, also the delay and chorus buttons function properly, but the reverb button has no effect and the reverb effect is locked off. Confusing -
