Hi y'all. I'm the proud owner of BDR. Got it third hand but its real clean, a beaut and my first real tube amp.
I am looking for your suggestions for settings on the clean channel which will allow me to work my peddle board with. I am finding the amp to be somewhat bassy and at some times too high frequencied.
I play blues rock/ Stones with Tele and humbucker semi hollow Ibanez and am looking for a basic foundation on the BDR from which to start.
Am hopeful you will provide some ideas.
Thanks
solomio

yeh, thier bassy. i have one and love it. going on 3 yrs. the clean channel is real bass heavy. lower the bass setting and the mids to taste because those controls work together. more mids the looser the bass, less mids the tighter 6 being the middle point.try upping the trebble and turning on the bright push up the presence to taste to take out any mud.the louder you run the amp the less bass you need. your going to get a lot of responces to this post be ready.

Thank you nutter. Was told the other day by another BDR owner that it takes awhile to find that amps sweet spot.
When playing Stones in open G ya do need to be mid heavy, not much bass or sparkle but its gotta ring with lots of definition.
I hope there are a lot of answers back.
Cheers

no prob, i like to run my bdri a bit bright(at least as much as i can stand).i use my guitars tone controls a lot. i have a l.p. and an e.c. strat so my guitars are capable of a bunch of low end if i'm not careful.
