I like the little devils...my main amp is the SS 60 watt combo but for rehearsals my band sets up in a local club auditorium and its the load in from hell.
I can't be bothered dragging the heavier amp to practice,so a blues junior is the better option for me...they sound fine

There was a tweed one on CL here about 4 months ago and it was only a few miles away. Price was $350. Could've had it and mailed the guy but I already have a DRRI so I skipped it. Let someone else have it. I do more with less. I got 8 guitars and only play my Squier Duo Sonic generally. :)

I have no real complaint about the Blues Junior beyond the fact that 500 bucks for a 15 watt production tube amp seems steep. Especially considering that I spent 600 bucks on a 40 watt Hrdlx a just a couple of months ago on sale at the GC.

a friend of mine had one and I thought it sounded too bright ,tad harsh..IMHO for a 15 watt Fender you cant beat the Super Champ XD...they have a great clean channel, the Tweed,Deluxe and british settings ,all can be overdriven to perfection..if that isnt enough there are hotrod deluxe settings all the way over to hvy metal tones and now with the newer model coming out the XD's are $199 at Guitar Center. I just might buy another for a spare...

Yeah I have an XD myself....The drive channel is pretty good...i still like just using my own drive pedal and effects tho. You can't beat that clean channel for the price! And I DO use the drive channel and onboard effects when I feel particularly lazy and don't want to mess with a big pile of spagetti and snakes in my bedroom. That's where I wonder why they charge so much more for the little Blues Jr. I am sure the quality of parts and assembly is a little higher but, 300 dollars higher?
