I bought a used, like new, Acoustasonic amp which I'm very happy with but I don't know the age of the amp. I've been everywhere on the internet that I can find to see how to date the amp but can't find anything on an Acoustasonic. Anyone know where I can go to find info on dating this amp?

Hi jmoss,

Here is the Fender amp dating site.

http://www.fender.com/support/articles/amplifier-product-dating

If that doesn't help, contact Fender with your serial number and they might be able to help.

I already found the Fender site and it wasn't much help. It says to look for a "QA" sticker on the back of the amp but mine doesn't have one. I sent Fender an email several days ago but haven't heard from them. Appreicate your reply. Maybe Fender will respond one day.

If anyone is interested, My Acoustasonic Jr has a serial #M1371827. According to Fender Consumer Relations, this # dates to 1/2003. The first number is the month and the 2nd number is the year. I assume the M stands for Mexico. FYI.
