What page are you referring to? I don't see it on any of mine.

There are two photo panels on the sides of this page. The photos change every time the page is opened. If you hit REFRESH enough times, you'll eventually see the red amp mentioned above.

It's a Hot Rod Deluxe "Texas Red" which is our latest super-cool "limited edition" model.

Red covering, Wheat grille cloth, Ivory knobs, Celestion V30, and a "Texas Red" badge on the back with chili pepper logo.

These will ship over the next few months to dealers.

Thanks,
Shane

Ah, thanks Shane. Shwheat!!!!!!! The V30 must sound awesome. What's the surcharge for the special edition? I posted the pic here for those who don't want to hunt so much.

It's a reasonable upcharge for this limited edition model...your best bet is to contact your favorite Fender dealer and ask them about it.

thanks,
Shane

That does look sharp. I may have to go check one in person.

Arghh, I see there's lots of limited edition of the Hot Rod (hence the name)
The first limited edition was:

Limited Edition Hot Rod Deluxe with Lacquered Tweed covering and Jensen P12N 12" Speaker.

second one:
The emerald green (tolex), fueled by a Celestion V30 12" Speaker.
argh, i love that color.

third one: The white lightening, with a CELESTION Century Vintage speaker.
is it different from the V30 ?

and now ladies and gentlemen:
the fourth one: Texas Red, with a red tolex and a V30 as a speaker.

So next one is the blue lagoon ocean surf special limited edition with a
special speaker :)

Hey Nicolas, how do you find all that different color for tolex at Fender ?
I wish I had found a piece of emerald green tolex, cos I love the sound of
my HRD with Eminence Special Design125 Speaker.
I hoewver tried in France the HRD emerald green with a V30 but I only like the color.
Any advice ?

How I forgot brown, sunburst and blonde finitions.
My god, it's like the Hot Rod cars back in the end of the sixty in USA, aviaible in a lot of colors and fintion to suit the needs of customer.....

Who decided to output such versions of that wonderfull amp ?

Anyways I stay with my amp. I like the sound. it's incredible for me to play on a tube amplifier that is affordable (if you know how to spare a little bit of money).

Thank you Fender, Leo would be proud!
